Why I traded Hip-Hop for Podcasts

Hey Busy Bees! For those of you who know me, my car is normally a rap concert starring yours truly.

However, over the past couple years I have used my time in the car to listen to podcasts and plug into people that inspire me.

A few years ago, I heard the idea of a "school on wheels" and it changed the way I think about how I'm spending my time in the car.

I drive about an hour each day, with a 30 minute commute to work 5 days a week. That is 5 hours that I can learn, get inspired, learn business strategies and tools for success, that I would otherwise be wasting.

There is a podcast on anything and everything you can imagine!

Today I'm sharing 7 of my favorites with you guys.

These are focused towards dreamers, entrepreneurs, women with side hustles, businesses, or women looking for inspiration in general.

Her podcast is more business related but I also love her humor. She is so REAL and relatable! You can listen to a few chapters of her book for free!

How to Listen:

If you're anything like me, I didn't even know how to access podcasts. So if you have an iphone, find the purple icon under your productivity folder (that's where mine was) and open it. You can search the podcasts listed above and download episodes or subscribe. You will be notified and a feed will be created for you to listen to.

It's super easy!

I'd love to hear which podcasts you try out and I challenge you to set a goal of listening at least 3 x a week. We all need a little Jam out session in our car, but if we balance it out and take advantage of our school on wheels?

I've personally seen the benefit of plugging into these podcasts. There is so much "free" knowledge out there; these entrepreneurs are allowing you to learn from them every single week and their stories make you feel like you can do it too.

Whatever your work is in the world, it's so important to learn from those who have gone before you. Why do it alone?

Thanks for tuning in! I can't wait to hear which podcast you'll be trying!

Until next time!
